Язык: Русский. Страна: США. Tipsy's debut album Trip Tease fused easy listening from the '50s & '60s and '90s electronica together so perfectly and distinctively that it was a tough act to follow. Just over four years after Trip Tease's release comes Uh-Oh, and though it's not the disaster the title implies, it's a little disappointing. Though Uh-Oh wisely avoids overtly contemporary electronic styles in favor of exotica, lounge, bossa nova, soft rock, and analog synth tomfoolery, its 18 tracks are strangely amorphous, the aural equivalent of a lava lamp - equally kitschy and hyp. Discover all of this album's music connections, watch videos, listen to music, discuss and solid release that Uh-Oh is, there are some memorable moments, like Hey and Bunny Kick. Some of the characteristics of the band is the subtle, dark feeling behind the seemingly over-happy music, kind of scary really. If one should describe the mood that record creates, it's sipping Pinja Coladas on a poolside. on acid I wouldn't call this psychedelia, rather very odd exotica. Truly unique album, with very cool album art. Get it. There's only one Tipsy. Répondre Me notifier 2 Helpful. Tipsy Sweet cinnamon punch Uh oh 3:31. Tipsy - Kitty Takes a Ride 2:55. So here they move beyond the squeeze cheese factor and craft infectiously upbeat songs that stand just fine on their own, from the sunnily propulsive Papaya Highway to the spy-themed Swallowtail. And in a nod to today's electronica mayhem makers and yesterday's psychedelic popsters, they insert disorienting sound effects at every other turn. Tipsy is an American electronic music group. Based in San Francisco, California, it consists of Tim Digulla and David Gardner. In 1996, Tipsy released an album, Trip Tease, on Asphodel Records. In 2015, Fact placed it at number 44 on the 50 Best Trip-Hop Albums of All Time list. In 2001, Tipsy released the second album, Uh-Oh, on Asphodel Records. In 2008, Tipsy released the third album, Buzzz, on Ipecac Recordings. Tipsy's second album, Uh-Oh, doesn't just rehash the mid-'90s martini-music comeback, it recasts it, ushering the exotica percussion, soaring strings, tinny organs and surf guitars of Combustible Edison and Esquivel into a brave new world of looped breakbeats and laptop trickery. painstakingly process small episodes of manufactured excess and thoughtless musical effect into tracks evoking the giddy pleasures to be found in running your favourite party tapes at the wrong speed
