The Korgis is the first studio album by English pop band, The Korgis. It was released in 1979 on Rialto Records in the UK, and on Warner Bros. Records in the US. The album includes the singles Young And Russian and If I Had You 13, UK Singles Chart. The Korgis was re-issued on compact disc by Edsel Records in 1999. The band's original members were singerguitaristkeyboardist Andy Davis and singerbassistguitarist James Warren, both former members of 1970's group Stackridge. The Korgis of today feature founder member, James Warren with John Baker, additional lead vocalist from 1992. Keyboard virtuoso Nigel Hart, Al Steele on guitar from The Korgis 90's live band, backing vocalists Born to Win and studio ace Paul Smith on drums. The Korgis are a Pop-band formed circa 1978 from the United Kingdom, originally composed of James Warren vocals, bass and Andy Davis drums, vocals, both ex-members of stackridge, along with the unofficial members Stuart Gordon guitar and Phil Harrison keyboards. Their successful period lasted until 1982. In 1986 Warren would go on to issue a solo LP entitled Burning Questions in. Some of the singles during this era were released as 'The Korgis' and co-produced by Andy Davis. The band reunited in 1990 to re-record Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime. read more.
