Their first album 'Supershitty To The Max' was released in June 1996, after which keyboardist Anders Lindström aka Boba Fett also joined the band, first as a live session musician and few years later as a a full time member. In 1997 Andersson quit in Entombed, his main band at the time, and The Hellacopters became a full-time band and the main musical outlet for Andersson.
