Album

The Way We Were is a 1973 American romantic drama film directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford. Arthur Laurents wrote both the novel and screenplay based on his college days at Cornell University and his experiences with the House Un-American Activities Committee. A box-office success, the film was nominated for several awards and won the Oscar for Best Original Dramatic Score and Best Original Song for the theme song The Way We Were. It ranked at number six on. Flutist Paul Fried is joined by a small band to play warm and sweet renditions of love songs on The Way We Were. The pure and natural sound of the flute is the perfect instrument for songs such as The Way We Were, Evergreen, and All I Ask of You. Fried, whose background is in classical music, exhibits an extraordinary feel for the pop sound, turning popular pieces into masterpieces. Fried is supported by harp, guitar, bass and cello. The Way We Were Andy Williams album. The Way We Were is the thirty-second studio album by American pop singer Andy Williams, released in the spring of 1974 by Columbia Records and was a return to singing songs that his audience was already familiar with after Solitaire, his previous LP that was less reliant on covers of recent pop hits, did not perform well. The Way We Were is a live album by The Residents, released in 2005 on Ralph America. It features a recording of a Melbourne performance from the group's 2005 Australian tour, a 33rd anniversary show also entitled The Way We Were. A remixed version of the album was issued by The Cryptic Corporation in 2012, re-titled Triple Dub-Ya: The Way We Were Melbourne. The Way We Were. Paul Mauriat And His Orchestra. Звезда родилась 1976. I can remember seeing THE WAY WE WERE when I was in high school and being surprised by how much I had enjoyed it. Romances were never really my thing, but I had always enjoyed the work of Robert Redford, so I decided to give it a try. I was floored by the power and beauty of film My initial reactions to the film were, once again, how natural and charismatic Redford is as the classic example of the college golden boy, who feels slightly trapped. The Way We Were-the studio album-was assembled mostly from unused recordings from 1970 for an album Barbra worked on titled The Singer. Only All in Love is Fair, Something So Right, the pop version of The Way We Were, and Being At War With Each Other were recorded specifically for this album in December 1973. A song called Make the Man Love Me by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, was recorded at the same December session, but remained unreleased. Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей Paul Mauriat
