This is a Theme from Tubular Bells Part 2 by Mike Oldfield. Текст песни: The hallway. From outside, an ordinary house. A great house, true - four hundred and eighty three rooms, each one with its own marble wash basin and douche, bidet as it may. But inside, and the positions are. Mike Oldfield's Single is the debut single by musician Mike Oldfield, released in 1974. The A-side is a variation of one of the themes from Oldfield's 1973 debut album, Tubular Bells, and was made in response to an American single containing an excerpt from Tubular Bells which Oldfield did not authorise. After its use in the box office success The Exorcist, Tubular Bells as featured on the American single reached 7 on the U. Billboard Hot 100. Side A : 'Theme From Tubular Bells' is not an excerpt of his first epic work, but a completely different take, probably recorded later than the album. It is however based on the so-called 'Bagpipes Guitar' theme from Tubular Bells. Mike oldfield plays all instruments, except the oboe, presumably played by Lindsay Cooper. Side B : 'Froggy Went A Courting' is a traditional song, the first in a series of many folk tunes Oldfield would use to fill in his singles, and that will make them highly collectible.
