Quite the record, More than just a nostalgic time piece , Large Pro wen't all out in a short and sweet offering to the community of hip-hop. A1-A3 chronicled Large Pro's journey from adolescence into adulthood , most interestingly spitting about Q-Tip almost going the crime route as well as other noteworthy gems upon those who belong on the Mt. Rushmore of Hip-Hop. "In The Scrolls" paid self-homage to the Illmatic-era that LP helped create and this was followed up by the perfect jazzy track aimed primarily at the female audience "Own World" which also serves as a perfect vibe track as well with or without the mate. The best verses on the LP though come from the 1st verse on "Off Yo Azz On Yo Feet",Large P's words on those who follow societies norms yet who come up short on reaching societies benefits becomes the perfect motivator track for anyone in any struggle who needs that extra push . Not to be mistaken for a runner-up "Sophia Yo", should have been the go-to for 1st single - which blows my mind that it wasn't; a bass heavy head-nodder that speaks on a cat whose been getting to high off his own funk and who is in dire need of smelling the roses instead - "Sophia Yo" is the dark horse of this album. The album then closes out with tracks that hit on the head of the newer breed of rapper's today, most notably Sadat X and Lord Jamar shine on the posse cut "Industry RMX 2" and the grand finale "NDN" (as well as the intermission "Earn") proves LP has yet to lose his step on the instrumental side of his talents. Speaking of instruments, Rob Swift's voice is heard loud and clear on those turntables throughout the whole project just the way it should be . "Re:Living" was no ressurection record, just another solid effort in the legacy of a MC.
