Born in London, England, in 1930, he moved with his family in 1940 to Painswick, Gloucestershire, where he spent his formative years, becoming a young member of the village dramatic society. He was educated at Eton College and Trinity College. This Julian Slade website has recently been updated both creatively and technically for 2016 and beyond. Although still best viewed on a full screen, the site can now also be accessed on mobiles and all other online devices.
