Notes

This version has a facsimile cover of the 1967 mono release, but the recording is stereo. The typography has been mostly recreated with digital fonts that are a close but not perfect match to the original (e.g. the "C" in "Action" has slanting terminals whereas the originals are horizontal; the catalog number in the oval shape on the front has been horizontally stretched to match the width of the original, and next to it the "OT" letters in "BLUE NOTE" are closer together than the 1960s original).

Album

Right Now is an album by American saxophonist Jackie McLean recorded in 1965 and released on the Blue Note label. a particularly strong example of Jackie McLean's unique insideoutside music of the 1960s. Eco McLean - 6:09. Poor Eric Larry Willis - 10:12. Christel's Time Willis - 10:34. The Anthology Album - Jackie McLean, Jackie Mclean Quartet & Quintet & Sextet. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. This recording, whose music has been reissued as part of a Mosaic Jackie McLean box set, has several selections that are quite fascinating. McLean along with trumpeter Charles Tolliver, vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, bassist Cecil McBee, and drummer Billy Higgins plays free hard bop on Action which does not have a specific set of chord changes to follow, a pair of Tolliver compositions Plight being the most well known and even the standard I Hear a Rhapsody McLean's feature. must be a Scorpio pressing. obviously a recent pressing. probably from digital source.
id assume it was sourced the way all the 75th anniversary UME stuff was. they are remastered digitally, i doubt the source is digital though
