I loved these Delorean back then, and I still come back to this phase and prefer it much more than the new balearic one. This phase, the one that includes this EP, Into The Plateau and their international version Transatlantic KK, is the most cocaine-induced version of what DFA did in NY, a very dark, shouty and fun version that took everything from The Rapture and similar groups of the era (The Bravery) and kicked it to excess. The standouts are the third one, that went to the album, and well, all the remixes, one of them with John Talabot in his previous moniker DARYL.

And they were great at festivals, too. Imagine these metropolitan deaths sounding at 3 AM in the darkness of a spanish summer night. It was like that.
